Red Square will be closed from 18:00 on December 31 to 8:00 on January 1, 2025. This was reported on Monday, December 30, by the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow.

"The exception is the GUM skating rink, which works in accordance with its schedule", - told the agency.

Earlier, on December 6, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that there are no plans to launch New Year's fireworks in the capital this year.
