Former Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan has been detained in Moscow. This was reported by Telegram channel 112 on Monday, December 30.

The man was detained on Tverskaya Street in the capital. He is wanted in Armenia on charges of illegal participation in business, abuse of office and abuse of power.

Arshak Karapetyan held the post of Armenian Defense Minister for several months in 2021.
