Russian troops hit AFU military airfields and warehouses in the special operation zone

Russian servicemen have hit energy facilities of Ukraine's Military Industrial Complex (MIC), as well as airfields, warehouses and control points of attack drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 30.

"Energy facilities that support the work of Ukraine's military-industrial complex enterprises, infrastructure of military airfields, storage warehouses, control points and launch sites of strike drones, as well as accumulations of AFU manpower and military equipment in 143 areas were hit," the ministry said in a statement.

In addition, air defense (air defense) means destroyed four rockets of the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 65 drones of the aircraft type.

Earlier, on December 28, the Defense Ministry reported that servicemen of the northern group of Russian troops destroyed an AFU position in Kharkiv Region with the help of a drone. One of the group's units detected the accumulation of the enemy's manpower in the shelter with the help of aerial reconnaissance equipment.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
