In Thailand, 17 people were injured in an accident with a truck and a bus

In Thailand, 17 people were injured in a collision of a tourist bus with a truck. This was reported by the Thai newspaper Khaosod on December 30.

"A tourist bus crashed into the back of a truck carrying rubber, foreigners were injured and the 72-year-old [bus] driver claims he bent over to pick up his cell phone," the publication said.

It is noted that 17 passengers on the bus were injured. A total of 43 tourists were in it. All the injured were taken to hospitals.

Both drivers will be interviewed by investigators.

Earlier, on December 21, it was reported about the death of 22 people in an accident involving a bus in Brazil. Another 13 people were injured.
