Russian artillerymen disrupted the rotation of the AFU in the Krasnoarmeysk direction

Soldiers of the 130-millimeter M-46 cannon of the Center group of troops destroyed a camouflaged command post and an enemy fortification during a combat mission, disrupting the rotation of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) units in the Krasnoarmeysk direction of the special military operation (SMO). This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on December 30.
"We are working on fortresses, on immovable targets, on UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicle control points. - Ed.), on strongholds," said platoon commander, Senior Lieutenant Anton Loginovsky.
The Russian artillerymen, having received the coordinates of the targets, promptly prepared and aimed their guns, after which they began to fulfill the combat task. The fire was conducted from a closed firing position at a range of more than 15 kilometers. After the successful completion of the combat mission, the crew quickly camouflaged the gun and took cover in a dugout.
Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces fired 130-millimeter fragmentation high-explosive shells, as a result of a salvo of which they eliminated enemy targets.
The drone crews monitored and corrected the fulfillment of the combat mission. They also transmit coordinates of the location of AFU fighters and perform reconnaissance.
Earlier, on December 29, a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS) of the Center group of forces delivered an artillery strike on the UAV control point and an accumulation of AFU manpower and military equipment in the Krasnoarmeysk direction.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the region.
