Kazakhstan to send black boxes of airplane that fell in Aktau to Brazil


Kazakhstan will send the black boxes of the crashed AZAL plane to the center of investigation and prevention of aviation accidents in Brazil. This is reported on December 29 by the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan in Telegram-channel.
"In accordance with the standards of Annex 13 of the Chicago Convention, the state conducting the investigation, provides a reading of recordings of flight recorders and decides on the choice of country for reading and decoding of black boxes," - written in the message.
It is reported that the commission to investigate the accident made a decision on the basis of the convention, as well as taking into account the recommendation of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and consultations with the aviation authorities of Azerbaijan and Russia.
Earlier, on December 25, the speech black box (flight recorder) was found at the site of the plane crash in Kazakhstan. It is specified that the black box is suitable for deciphering.
A passenger plane of AZAL Airlines, heading on the route Baku - Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau on December 25. The Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan named the preliminary cause of the crash as outside interference. After the incident, a criminal case was initiated. According to the airline's list, there were 62 passengers and five crew members on board. A total of 38 bodies were found at the crash site. Of the crew, three people survived.
