A Ukrainian drone was shot down over the Orel region

A Ukrainian drone has been shot down over Orel Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Andrei Klychkov on December 29.

"Damage and casualties were avoided, operational services are working at the site of the fall," he indicated in Telegram-channel.

Klychkov added that the drone was suppressed by means of electronic warfare (REB).

Earlier in the day, air defense forces destroyed two militants' drones over Rostov and Bryansk regions. This happened between 11:50 and 12:10 Moscow time. Between 13:00 and 15:00, four more drones were destroyed over Rostov, Bryansk and Orel regions.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
