A doctor gave tips on how to maintain a sleep schedule during the holidays


During the holidays it is better to endure lethargy, get up in the morning, have breakfast and go for a walk, so as not to disrupt sleep patterns. This was told by doctor Elena Tsareva in a conversation with the radio station "Govorit Moskva" on December 29.
"A sleepless night is not always a bad thing. It is not worth worrying that you did not sleep at night, but to worry about what time you woke up after that, if you still fell asleep in the morning - it is important. It is desirable not to sleep until dinner and get up more or less close to the usual time to wake up, ideally in the morning, have breakfast, "- explained the expert.
According to Tsareva, if there is still a need to sleep during the day, it should be done after some time to partially close the sleep deficit, without breaking the regime.
At the same time, the morning of January 1 should be as active as possible to defeat sleepiness.
"If you woke up on the morning of January 1, then stay awake until the evening, save up sleepiness, tolerate it until the evening. Then falling asleep will be easier, and the time of onset of sleep will also be faster," - concluded the doctor.
Earlier, December 14, orthopedist of the clinic "Treat" Natalia Nefedova said that the optimal height of the pillow for women is 10-13 cm, for men - 13-15 cm. The doctor added that the pillow should be changed every two to three years.
