The State Duma reminded about the laws coming into force in 2025

The State Duma named the laws that will come into force on January 1, 2025. This was announced on December 29 by the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin in Telegram-channel.

It is noted that the law on the resumption of indexation for working pensioners has been adopted, as well as from January 1, 2025 will increase the minimum wage.

"Thanks to this will increase the wages of 4.2 million workers - mainly budgetary sector, as well as increase the size of a number of social benefits and payments," - said Volodin.

In addition, criminal liability will be introduced for the repeated sale of vapes to minors.

More norms to improve migration legislation will also come into force. They will include laws to combat sham marriages, paternity and maternity of migrants, reducing the period of temporary stay of foreign citizens on the territory of Russia, limiting the number of SIM cards registered by migrants.
