Insurance pensions will be indexed to actual inflation in February

Insurance pensions for working and non-working pensioners will be indexed by 7.3% from January 1, 2025, also in February they will be increased to the level of actual inflation. This was reported on December 28 in the press service of the Ministry of Labor with reference to the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov.

"Early transfers of pensions for the first days of January have already begun. They are increased by 7.3%, as provided by the adopted budget law. At the same time, the current legislation provides for the norm of indexation of pensions at the level of actual inflation," - emphasized Kotyakov in the message.

It is noted that additional indexation of pensions will affect about 37 million people.

Earlier, on November 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on the budget of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund for 2025-2027, according to which the social pension will be indexed by 14.75%. After indexation, its amount will be 15,456 rubles on April 1, 2025. In addition, insurance pensions will be increased by 7.3% on January 1, 2025.
