In the outgoing 2024 year in Moscow more than 2.5 thousand objects were improved, said in his Telegram-channel the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin. In the course of works in the city about 1700 yards, and also territories of more than 120 schools and kindergartens were improved.

Among the objects of improvement this year were, among other things, the capital's landmark places. The largest linear park in Europe "Yauza" was created, said the capital's mayor.

"In fact, we have made a single recreational zone from the Moscow Ring Road to the Rostokinsky Aqueduct with access to Losiny Ostrov, the Main Botanical Garden of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Sokolniki and VDNKh," wrote Sergei Sobyanin.

In addition, a part of the territory of the natural-historical park "Moskvoretsky" was reconstructed in the capital. The works were carried out, including on the embankment of the Moskva River and on recreational areas popular among the citizens in the area of Bolshoi and Maly Stroginsky floodplains. A new double-track streetcar line was put into operation on Sergia Radonezhsky Street, which made it possible to connect streetcar tracks on the Entuziastov highway and Andronyevskaya Square. The Aquarium garden and Kadashevskaya embankment were also improved. Currently, landscaping works are being carried out in Kolomenskoye, Sokolniki and Gorky Park, where several stages of territory renovation and rehabilitation are underway.
