Personal photographer of the Russian Foreign Ministry Eduard Pesov died at the 93rd year of life. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on December 29.

"He was known on all continents and loved for his inexhaustible energy, life-affirming power of creativity, non-indifference," she wrote in her Telegram channel.

Zakharova noted that Pesov was the author of iconic photographs that revealed the secrets of world diplomacy, as well as a participant in major international events around the world.

Pesov worked as the official photographer of all Soviet and Russian foreign ministers since the 1960s.

He has been honored with numerous awards and prizes, including the prestigious Golden Eye Award, the Order for Merit to the Fatherland and the Order of Friendship.
