Muang Airport in South Korea closed after plane crash

Other scheduled flights were also canceled.
In addition, the Hankyung newspaper writes that South Korea's Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation Park Sang-woo said that the runway of Muang Airport will be closed until January 1 next year.
The crash of a Jeju Air plane while landing at Muang Airport became known earlier in the day. Authorities are investigating the scene to determine the exact cause of the crash, and rescue operations are also underway. According to the airport authority, the plane crashed on landing on the fuselage due to a landing gear failure before it could shed speed.
