In Moscow, the Gorbunov House of Culture (DK) is hosting a New Year's holiday show "The Wizard from Veliky Ustyug", which, according to the audience, immerses them in a fairy tale.

The audience is delighted by the unique combination of circus and theater elements, multimedia screens, music and complex acrobatic stunts. The stage is shared simultaneously by theater artists and acrobats performing tricks without insurance.

Russian rock was once born in the walls of the Gorbunov Palace of Culture, and now a new genre of art - a symbiosis of theater, circus and technology - is being embodied.

The organizers called their show the first such performance in Russia. The angle of the screen is chosen so that the audience can watch everything that happens on the stage, and the performers were able to move around it.

In the story, the girl Katya received the wrong present from Santa Claus and went to Veliky Ustyug to get the right one. During her adventure, she encounters various dangers and difficulties, to cope with which she is helped by the audience.

So, Irina Shilovskaya came to the performance with a friend and their five children, among whom the youngest is only five months old.

"We sat through the performance perfectly, she [the five-month-old girl] liked it very much. She didn't once mind what was going on. It's very healthy interactive, it really attracts children," the woman said.

Alexandra Lovyannikova, the director of the show, specified that the performance uses 3D animation, the content of which is synchronized with the actions of the actors. According to her, the technique recreates the unique effect of a fairy tale.

The New Year's show can be visited at the Gorbunov Palace of Culture until January 12.
