Kucherov moved into second place in Tampa history in NHL goal assists

Russian forward Nikita Kucherov, playing for the hockey club (HC) Tampa Bay Lightning, scored three points in the regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the New York Rangers, held on December 29.

The match ended with a score of 6:2 in favor of "Tampa".

Nikita Kucherov, Ryan McDonagh, Brayden Point, Anthony Cirelli and Nick Paul scored for the winners. Artemi Panarin and Vincent Trocheck scored for the losing team.

Kucherov currently has 590 assists, surpassing Martin St. Louis, who has 588 assists. The record for assists in Tampa history remains behind Victor Hedman, who has 597.
