The Grad RZDF destroyed an AFU UAV control center on the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction

A BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Center group of troops has launched an artillery strike on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control point and a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) manpower and military equipment on the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction of the special military operation (SMO). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 29.
The ministry noted that the Russian military worked promptly. Having received the coordinates, they moved out of hiding, deployed a combat vehicle and fired 122-millimeter high-explosive shells at a distance of more than 15 kilometers at the targets.
Intelligence transmission, control over the fulfillment of combat tasks and fire correction are carried out with the help of a UAV calculation of the group's reconnaissance unit.
The Defense Ministry stressed that the high professionalism and coherence of the Grad RZSO's calculation allowed to inflict significant damage to the enemy and support the advance of the Russian troops.
Earlier, on December 23, the Grad RZSO "Grad" calculation of the "Center" group of troops struck an accumulation of AFU manpower and equipment in the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction of the North Caucasus Military District. It is specified that the targets were hit from a distance of more than 15 kilometers. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the Grad MLRS, the assault units of the Center group of troops managed to successfully carry out offensive operations.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the region.
