Forecasters predicted light snow and ice in Moscow on December 29

The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from 0 to +2 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to 0.

In the Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from -3 to +2 degrees, at night the temperature may fall to -2.

A southwesterly wind with a speed of 5-10 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 752 mm Hg.

Cold weather could change to snowfall by the end of the day

On the eve of the capital department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that on the night of December 29 in the capital is expected heavy fog with visibility up to 200-700 m. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fog will persist until 6:00 Sunday.

Earlier, on December 26, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that 3 mm of precipitation will fall in Moscow by the end of 2024. The specialist noted that heavy precipitation is not expected before the end of the year.
