Primorye started to supply collapsible bridges to restore roads after the emergency situation

The delivery of medium-sized demountable road bridges (MRBs) has started in the Primorsky Krai. They will be used to restore roads damaged by floods and other emergencies, the regional government press service told PrimaMedia news agency.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Krai, a total of 11 sets of SARMs have been purchased for 2025. They will allow to promptly restore transport communication in case of emergency - on average, the installation of such a structure takes from two to five days, depending on the length of the crossing.

"The service life of SARMs is about five years. Quickly erected crossings will be installed on problematic road sections, where flooding detours occur annually," the department explained.

Collapsible bridges can be single-span and multi-span, the length of spans is from 12 meters, width - about 4 meters.

The news agency specifies that two such structures have already been installed this year on the highway Nakhodka - Lazo - Olga - Kavalerovo.
