Russians told about mandatory amenities when buying an apartment

In the new year, Muscovites want to buy apartments with walk-in closets (23%), built-in pantries (15%), additional outlets on the balcony (13%), a second bathroom (12%), a master bedroom (9%) and a niche for a washing machine (8%). This is reported in the study of the company "Airplane", which was read by "Izvestia" on January 9.
According to the research of analysts, the most popular way of purchase remains mortgage: more than half of respondents (64%) reported that they are going to buy an apartment using borrowed funds. The other options follow with a large gap - so, to buy real estate for cash plans every fifth respondent (20%), and make installments wants only every sixth (16%).
Experts noted that among the survey participants were potential buyers of different age groups. The largest number of respondents (46%) are between 26 and 35 years old. 33% are buyers between 36 and 45 years old, while 17% belong to the age group of 46 to 55 years old. Young people are not in a hurry to buy a home, with only 4% of respondents being between the ages of 18 and 25. If we consider marital status, 42% of buyers are married and have at least one child, while 29% are not married. Even less often apartments are bought by childless couples (17%) and single parents (13%).
Earlier, on December 27, real estate expert Maria Lvova told "Izvestia" about when it is profitable to invest in real estate in 2025. According to her, it should be taken into account that in conditions of high mortgage rates, preference will be given to renting housing, rather than its purchase, in these conditions it is possible to buy real estate at a price below the market. The specialist also advises to consider investing in real estate in the first quarter of 2025.
