Yana Rudkovskaya was born on January 2, 1975 in the Kazakh city of Kostanai in the family of military pilot Alexander Rudkovsky and neurologist Svetlana Rudkovskaya. She spent her childhood in Barnaul, where her father was transferred for service. There she graduated from high school, simultaneously practicing figure skating and music.

Yana continued her education at the Altai State Medical University, deciding to become a cosmetologist. After graduation, the future star moved to Sochi, where she opened her first beauty salon. In this southern city Rudkovskaya met her first husband - entrepreneur Viktor Baturin, who is the brother of the wife of the first mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov.

The couple married in 2001. A year later, the couple had a son Nikolai. Also in the family grew Baturin's son from a previous marriage Andrei. By 2008, relations with her husband broke down, and Rudkovskaya filed for divorce. The divorce process lasted several years and was marked by high-profile litigation.
