State Duma reacts to Ukraine's launch of more than 50 drones overnight

The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs, Aleksey Chepa, has said that Ukraine is trying to influence the situation on the frontlines by launching unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at Russia and "show their Western masters that they are still ready to continue the conflict".
In a conversation with Lenta.Ru on Saturday, December 28, the parliamentarian noted that the AFU is trying to somehow demonstrate its activity on the fronts, where they are suffering decisive defeats, "and thus carry out terrorist strikes, mostly on civilian objects."
On the night of December 28, the AFU fired 56 UAVs at Russian regions. As specified in the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian air defense means destroyed 11 drones in Belgorod region, 28 - in Voronezh region, 17 - in Rostov region, writes NSN.
On December 27, the Defense Ministry reported about 13 destroyed Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
