Antikovid restrictions extended in St. Petersburg until 2026


In St. Petersburg, the restrictions imposed to combat coronavirus infection have been extended for 2025. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Alexander Beglov. The reason - the need to maintain preventive measures in conditions of risk of spread of infection.
As clarifies the TV channel "78", for public events it is necessary to obtain approval from Rospotrebnadzor. It is still forbidden to smoke hookah in specialized establishments.
Control the implementation of the decree will be Vice-Governor Oleg Ergashev, supervising the health sector.
Restrictions began in March 2020 and will last until the end of December 2025.
Earlier it was reported that the study, conducted under the direction of the chief freelance pulmonologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Professor Sergei Avdeev, showed that the drug based on the active substance bovgialuronidase azoximer (BA) is able to reduce one of the key symptoms of postcovitis syndrome - exercise intolerance.
Patients taking the new therapy were found to have a 62% lower post-exercise oxygen saturation and a 27% lower incidence of dyspnea after exercise than patients in the control group. In patients with concomitant cardiovascular disease, lung function improved by 26% under therapy.
