Three car companies changed car prices in the second half of December

In the first half of December, automakers massively increased prices for new cars, but at the end of the year, only three companies rewrote their price lists, and some even reduced prices. This was reported by the analytical agency "Autostat" on December 28.
Thus, the company Changan raised prices for the third-generation crossover CS75 Plus by Br50 thousand (+1.3-1.4%), now it costs from Br3.59 million to Br3.95 million.
Domestic brand Evolute reduced the price of hybrid crossover i-Space in the version "Premium" by Br200 thousand (-6.7%), up to Br2.79 million. The price of the base modification remained unchanged - Br2.5 million.
St. Petersburg auto brand Solaris changed prices for three of its four models, which are analogs of Hyundai and Kia with original nameplates. The minimum price of the sedan KRS (Kia Rio) decreased by Br8 thousand (-0.4%), while the maximum price increased by Br158 thousand (+6.8%). KRX hatchback (Kia Rio X) went up by Br67-91 thousand (+3.2-3.7%). The crossover HC (Hyundai Creta) has increased in price the most - from Br137 to Br350 thousand (+5.5-10.3%).
According to the agency, in the first half of December, car prices in Russia increased 12 brands, including Changan, Geely, JAC, Chery, Omoda and Belgee.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that in Russia in 2025, sales of new passenger cars may reach 1.65 million units, 6% higher than in 2024. The negative scenario assumes sales at the level of 1.5 million cars (-4%). From the market may also leave up to a quarter of mass brands with sales of less than 100 cars per month, analysts warned.
On December 26, it became known that the Russian car market was overstocked with Chinese cars. According to experts and industry participants, the cars imported into the country will be enough to satisfy the market until April.
