Two more ice crossings opened in Khabarovsk Krai

In Khabarovsk Krai, two more ice crossings located in the Okhotsk and Nikolaevsk districts have been put on the record of GIMS inspectors of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. This GU EMERCOM of Russia in the region reported on Saturday, December 28.
In the Okhotsk district the crossing on the winter road between the village of Novoye Ustye and the settlement of Okhotsk was allowed for operation. The load capacity of the road is 20 tons.
The second crossing, in Nikolaevsky Raion, is equipped across the Amur River. It connects the district center and the village of Podgornoye. As specified by IA AmurMedia, the length of the crossing is 5 kilometers, the load capacity is 3 tons.
Seasonal road facilities are equipped with information signs and have a rescue post. The condition of the cover and its safety for travel are under constant control.
As of December 28, 11 ice crossings are operating in the region.
