The cause of the fatal fire in Dalnegorsk was a short circuit

A fire in a private house in Dalnegorsk (Primorsky Krai), which resulted in the death of a 59-year-old woman, was probably caused by a short circuit in the electrical wiring. About it the regional GU of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reports in its Telegram-channel on Saturday, December 28.

"In the course of verification on the fact of fire, it was preliminarily established that the fire origin was on the veranda in the location of the extension cord, the most probable cause of the fire - a short circuit of electrical wiring", - stated in the message.

The fire occurred on the night of December 27 in the house on the street Arsenyeva. Judging by the photos from the scene, published by the rescue agency, the fire and subsequent shedding destroyed the building.

The body of a 59-year-old woman was found during extinguishing, IA PrimaMedia specifies. The area of the fire amounted to 50 square meters. m.

December 25, a fire occurred in a private house in the town of Artem in Primorye. A 16-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy died.
