Expert gives tips on storing summer clothes and shoes

Summer clothes and shoes require special storage rules in winter. Among other things, it concerns the organization of the storage of things. Expert "AllInstruments.ru" Ksenia Chashina told "Izvestia" on December 30 about how to properly store summer clothes and shoes.

"Leather clothes and shoes require special attention. Such things can lose elasticity and attractive appearance if stored in damp or dusty places. Storage in direct sunlight threatens to dry them out," Chashina explained

According to her, clothes and shoes should be stored in a room with a low level of humidity, divided into categories. In the drawers of closets should be put insect repellent: bags, sachets or plates impregnated with active substances. To give things a pleasant smell, you can use fragrances for clothes.

"Find a space where all your clothes and shoes will fit. It's important that things don't take up a lot of space and don't get in the way of moving freely around the house. Carefully pack your clothes and shoes so they don't take up a lot of space and keep their original appearance. For this purpose plastic containers, cardboard boxes and cloth bags are suitable," - summarized Chashina.
