Carshare parking will be restricted in the center of Moscow on New Year holidays

From December 29 to January 8, the start and end of trips in carsharing cars in the areas of festive events in the center of Moscow will be limited. This was announced on Saturday by the capital deptrans in its Telegram-channel.

Restrictions will be imposed on Tverskaya, Petrovka, Neglinnaya, Bolshaya Lubyanka, Myasnitskaya, Novy Arbat, Volkhonka, Malaya Andronievskaya, Shkolnaya streets, as well as on Lubyanka Avenue, Tversky Boulevard, Prechistenskaya Embankment, Kremlin and Moskvoretskaya embankments.

The closures will operate in the center and near the sites of "Journey to Christmas". In deptrans noted that in the capital every day will work more than 90 thousand passenger cabs.

Earlier in the day it was reported that inspectors of the Moscow Administrative Road Inspection (MADI) will strengthen control over cab drivers during the New Year holidays. The department emphasized that at the beginning and end of the working day cab drivers need to undergo a medical examination and technical control of the car. If this is not done, the car can be temporarily seized and sent to a special parking lot (under Article 27.10 of the CAO RF).
