Liksutov announced the growth of industrial production in Moscow

In January-November 2024, the index of industrial production in Moscow increased by more than 15% compared to the same period last year. The output of clothing, chemical products, computers, machinery, equipment has significantly increased, said Maxim Liksutov, the capital's deputy mayor for transportation and industry.

"The systematic work on the development of Moscow's industrial sector, which we are conducting under the leadership of Sergei Sobyanin, contributes to strengthening the capital's position as a key industrial center of Russia. The city offers enterprises a set of financial and non-financial support tools," said Liksutov.

According to him, thanks to this, the geography of supplies is dynamically expanding, the quality and volume of products is growing. "The high dynamics in many provided the enterprises of manufacturing industries, which increased output by 16.4%. The greatest growth was noted by enterprises of light, machine-building industries, as well as manufacturers of computers, electronics and chemical products," - said the Deputy Mayor.

For 11 months in Moscow the output of clothing has increased by a quarter. Companies of machine-building complex increased production by 4.3%. The output of computers, electronic and optical products increased more than twice, chemical products - by 15.2%, paper - more than four times.

Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, said that from January to November this year, industrialists supplied customers with products worth more than 10 trillion rubles. This exceeds the results of the same period last year by almost 10%. "In particular, the shipment of food products increased by 21.1%, 45.7% - clothing, 14.1% - machinery and equipment, almost 40% - computers, electronic and optical products," Garbuzov said. According to his estimates, such a positive trend of growth in shipments indicates that the capital's products are competitive.
