Tourists stranded on a Kamchatka volcano have been rescued


Five tourists, stuck on a volcano in Kamchatka because of broken snowmobiles, have been found. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 28 in the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kamchatka region.
People were taken out of the mountain massif Vachkazhets in the Yelizovsky district. Among them are three adults and two children of one and a half and two years old.
The tourists stuck on the Kamchatka volcano were reported earlier in the day. After the snowmobiles broke down, one of the men managed to catch a cell phone connection and call for help.
Five people got stuck on the Vachkazhetsmountain range in the Kamchatka region earlier in the day. Two snowmobiles broke down and got stuck in the snow, after which one of the tourists went in search of cell phone service and managed to contact rescue services. Employees of the Kamchatka rescue center and the search and rescue unit of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the region went to help.
