Izvestia TV channel editor Maxim Yeliseyev killed in special operation zone

Editor of Izvestia TV channel Maxim Eliseev died in the zone of a special military operation. This was reported on December 28 by the press service of the Izvestia MIC.

In the fall of 2022 Eliseev left professional activity and went to the front as a volunteer.

"As it became known, died on December 26, 2024 in the combat zone. The entire staff of the MIC Izvestia expresses deep condolences to the family and loved ones of Maxim Eliseev in connection with his death", - stated in the message.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
