Two young children found dead in bathtub in Arkhangelsk region

Two young children, a boy and a girl, were found dead in the bathroom of an apartment in the city of Kotlas, Arkhangelsk region. This is reported on December 28 by the regional Prosecutor's office, which organized the inspection.

"In the morning time in the bathroom at their place of residence were found bodies. <...> The minors were brought up by their mother and father," - stated on the website of the department of the Arkhangelsk region and the Nenets Autonomous District.

It is noted that the family is dysfunctional and is registered with the bodies and institutions of the prevention system. The Prosecutor's office will assess how effective was the work of the prevention bodies with the family, which is "in a socially dangerous situation".

Earlier in the day in one of the houses in the SNT "Mezhurka" in the Tver region found the bodies of four minors. According to preliminary information, the perpetrator of the death of children was their father. Details of the incident are being clarified. A criminal case under paragraphs "a", "c" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two or more persons") was instituted. Local residents characterized the family as prosperous.
