Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) have attacked three populated areas in Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel on December 28.

Earlier, on December 27, Governor Dmitry Milyaev said that air defense means (air defense) destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the skies above the Tula region. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage, emergency services personnel were working at the site.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike at Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
