Five tourists stuck on a volcano in Kamchatka due to broken snowmobiles

In the Kamchatka region on the Vachkazhets mountain range five people got stuck on snowmobiles, among them two children 1.5 and 2.5 years old. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 28 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The Office informed that two snowmobiles broke down and got stuck in the snow, after which one of the tourists went in search of mobile communication and managed to contact the rescue services.

"Rescuers went to the scene of the incident," - specified in the message.

Employees of the Kamchatka rescue center and search and rescue squad of the GU of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the region went to help.

Earlier, on December 9, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on the mauling of a man by a bear in Kamchatka. He died of his injuries on the spot, the predator was shot.
