A man will be convicted in Moscow for the murder of a 48-year-old man over a record player

A man, who 48 years ago killed a woman because of a stereo player, will be tried in Moscow. This was reported on December 28 in the press service of the Prosecutor's office of Moscow.

"A 76-year-old man is charged with murder committed under aggravating circumstances, for mercenary motives and robbery (paragraph "a" of Art. 102, paragraph "c" of Art. 146 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR), the criminal case with the indictment approved in the Prosecutor's office of Moscow sent to court for consideration on the merits", - noted in the Telegram-channel.

In November 1976, at that time 27-year-old man under the pretext of buying a turntable came to an apartment on Ferganskaya Street. After he beat and strangled the 62-year-old owner of the apartment and stole valuable things, including the turntable.

Earlier, on November 30, a court in Moscow arrested a man accused of murdering a 23-year-old couple. The detainee turned out to be a 43-year-old man, he was identified by the victim. A case was opened under paragraphs "g" and "h" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder for mercenary motives"). The search for the second attacker continues.
