The volume of taxable income of Russians has reached almost 50 trillion rubles

The volume of taxable income of Russians increased by 26.3% in the first 11 months of 2024 compared to the same period last year. This follows from the data of the analytical portal of the Federal Tax Service (FTS), which were studied by Izvestia on December 28.

The indicator reached Br49.9 trillion. The steady increase in the level of income of citizens indicates the growth of wages, dividends paid, as well as the growth of business activity of the population, explained on the website of the Federal Tax Service.

The indicator is calculated on the basis of data on the receipt of personal income tax withheld by the tax agent. In the III quarter of 2024, real disposable income of the population grew by 9.4% in annualized terms, Rosstat reported earlier.

Earlier, on December 25, it was reported that the majority of surveyed Russians (59%) were able to increase their income in 2024. This is stated in the results of the study of financial marketplace "Vyberu.ru". Experts found out that 16% of respondents increased the level of wages due to the change of the sphere of activity. Additional part-time work was taken up by 31% of Russians. The main obstacles to the realization of their plans were lack of time, physical and emotional fatigue.
