Moscow subway opened the Troitskaya line from BKL to "Kommunarka"


On December 28, Moscow opened full-fledged traffic on the new Troitskaya line of the Moscow Metro. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin attended the grand opening.
"In Moscow metro construction in two stages today and in September we built the first phase of the new metro line Troitskaya, from BKL to "Kommunarka" and "Novomoskovskaya", - said Sobyanin.
It is noted that seven stations will improve transportation accessibility for almost 900 thousand residents of the capital, further the line will go to the MCC, and then to ZIL and south to Troitsk.
The mayor also added that there is important and big work ahead, he thanked the builders for the part done. It is indicated that further work on the construction of the Troitsk branch will continue even in the New Year holidays.
Earlier, on December 25, Sobyanin announced the opening of more than four dozen new metro stations and Moscow central diameters (MCD), which are planned to open by 2030 in Moscow.
