Russian Armed Forces hit the infrastructure of the AFU military airfield

Russian Armed Forces (AF) troop groups have hit the infrastructure of a military airfield and a fuel and lubricants depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with attack drones and missile forces. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on 28 December.

The defense ministry also specified that it had struck at accumulations of Ukrainian militants' manpower and military equipment in 148 areas.

Air defense means (air defense) shot down three HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 104 aircraft-type UAVs, including 57 outside the special operation zone.

"In total, since the beginning of the special military operation destroyed: 650 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 38,752 UAVs, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,072 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,504 combat vehicles of multiple rocket launchers, 20,058 field artillery and mortars, 29,603 units of special military automotive equipment," the Defense Ministry said.

Earlier in the day, the agency reported that air defense forces overnight intercepted 56 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian territory. It is specified that 28 drones were shot down over the territory of Voronezh region, 17 - over Rostov region and 11 - over Belgorod region.

On the eve of the servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the First Guards Tank Army of the group of troops "West" destroyed the M113 armored personnel carrier of the enemy in Kharkov region. It was specified that the object was detected with the help of a drone in a forest belt near the locality of Lozovaya.
