Moscow summarized the results of the "Active Citizen" project for the year

Over the year 355 thousand people joined the project "Active Citizen", said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

At the moment the project unites more than 7 million users. They made decisions on important for the city issues related to digitalization, culture, landscaping, transport.

"Over the year, Muscovites shared their opinions in the project more than 38 million times. They determined the program of major city events, chose the best restoration objects, names of squares and streets", - said Sergunina.

The number of votes held in "Active Citizen" in 2024 exceeded 750. Within one of them users identified the best cultural and sports events of the project "Summer in Moscow". The list of winners included the Moscow Estates festival and a gastronomic competition on Manezh Square as part of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030".

Residents also chose a new gastronomic symbol of the city - tea "Moscow". The drink consists of black tea, strawberries, black and red currants, orange slices and zest, rose buds, cornflower petals. Five blends from Moscow producers fought for the title of the best.

According to the results of another vote, Muscovites made up the top of the most beautiful metro stations opened since 2019. In total, there were more than 40 variants. Among the leaders are "Nagatinsky Zaton", "Michurinsky Prospekt", "Elektrozavodskaya", "Filatov Lug".

The users of "Active Citizen" also determined one of the winners of the contest "Moscow Restoration". A total of five cultural heritage sites were nominated, including the club of the Kauchuk plant on Plyushchikha Street and the Grebenshchikov Chambers on Taganskaya Street. The restoration project of 22 sculptures on the parapet of the Russian State Library received the most votes.

More users decided what names to give to animals from the zoo and "Moskvarium" at VDNKh, among them - panda Katyusha, Malay bear cubs Zvezdochka, Masha and Luchik, baby dolphin Lucky.

In spring "Active Citizen" celebrated its 10th anniversary. The project is developed by the capital's Department of Information Technologies and the New Management Technologies.
