For the guests of the festival "Journey to Christmas" prepared a program for the vacations

New Year's master classes, matinees, thematic exhibitions and sports competitions are waiting for the guests of the festival "Journey to Christmas", which is held in the capital until January 12 as part of the project "Winter in Moscow". Participants will also be able to listen to music and make photos in colorful locations, said Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

According to her, during the vacations guests will be met and congratulated by their favorite fairy tale characters - Father Frost and Snow Maiden.

"Those who wish will be offered to make gifts and Christmas tree decorations, cook New Year's dishes, try their hand at figure skating or curling," Sergunina said.

On 26 sites, for example, in Kurkino, Kuzminki and Lublino districts, children's matinees with the participation of heroes of fairy tales and cartoons are held.

In creative studios on vacations will teach to create vacation decor for the home: for example, in Otradnoe will make decorations in the form of candy with a surprise, in Cheremushki will paint plates with winter landscapes, and in Zyablikovo will decorate Christmas tree balls with glowing patterns.

Gastronomic master classes are held in "New Year's bakeries", in particular, in the districts of Golyanovo, Nekrasovka, Southern and Northern Medvedkovo. There they teach how to bake Moscow plushies, prepare "Stolichny" salad and olivier.

In Kuzminki, Novokosina and Maryina a creative workshop called Kinodom opened. It will interest those who want to learn about filmmaking or learn the basics of acting. And in the movie park "Moschino" you can record a New Year's address to loved ones and shoot a children's TV program in the format of "Blue Light".

Sergunina reminded that on the sites of "Moscow Seasons" 23 free skating rinks with artificial ice surface are open.

In Tagansky district traditionally prepared lanes for curling, and in 26 locations throughout Moscow will be held competitions in nine disciplines, including push-ups, squats and jumping rope.
