Moscow's cultural venues invite you to New Year performances and master classes

The capital's libraries, museums and cultural centers will hold more than 800 events from January 2 to 8 within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow". This was told by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"These are performances for the whole family, New Year's excursions and quests, dance, music and art master classes," - said the Vice-Mayor.

Events prepared about 270 sites in different districts of the city. Among them are branches of the Central City Children's Library named after A.P. Gaidar. From January 2 to 5 there are planned quizzes, interactive performances "Letters from Grandma Winter" and "New Year Again", as well as classes, participants of which will be offered to make Christmas tree toys and color postcards.

On January 6, the Ogonyok Cultural Center will organize sports and music contests for children. They will sing popular songs, reincarnate as characters from their favorite fairy tales and cartoons, and compete in ball games.

From January 2 to 8, the Multimedia Complex of Actual Arts will hold drawing classes: participants will learn about different genres and techniques, create stylized postcards with three-dimensional constructions inside, as well as fold-out books.

From January 3 to January 8, the Moscow Zoo invites you to visit the immersive performance "In Search of Santa Claus". Adults and children will be offered to guess riddles and take part in active games.

On January 4 and 5, visitors of the Central City Business Library will make New Year's souvenirs in the decoupage technique and Christmas tree pendants with artificial cones. For children there will organize a holiday "Visiting the Seasons" with fairy-tale characters and creative tasks.

In the Museum of Cosmonautics until January 7 will be held excursions "New Year on the ISS": guests will learn about the customs of astronauts, their holiday costumes and favorite movies.

Entrance to most of the events is free by pre-registration, for some events you will need to buy a ticket.
