Moscow told about the results of a year of work of the electric bus park "Saltykovka"

The Saltykovka electric bus depot in Moscow operates ten routes. Almost 60 thousand trips are made on them on weekdays. It became more comfortable for passengers to get to the stations of the rail frame and social objects, and modern electric transport came to the routes instead of buses, said Maxim Liksutov, the deputy mayor of the capital on transport and industry.

According to him, with the opening of the innovative park of eco-friendly transport in the east of the capital became more, and residents of the nearest districts got new jobs close to home.

"Thanks to the supply of equipment and modern infrastructure, Moscow is among the world leaders in the development and use of electric transport. The capacity of the electric bus house "Saltykovka" is designed to service 100 cars of Russian production. Today the park provides the work of ground transportation in 20 districts of the capital and three cities of Moscow region", - added Liksutov.

To launch new electric bus routes, charging infrastructure is being developed in the capital. Charging stations are being installed in the city and bus sites are being modernized. Moscow was the first in Russia to build modern electric bus parks, they are equipped with the latest technology.

"Saltykovka" has been operating in the east of Moscow for a year already. It opened at the end of December 2023. Replace buses with the most modern electric buses in the capital began in 2018.
