Participant of the "Time of Heroes", holder of two Orders of Courage Alexander Shlyapnikov was appointed deputy governor of the Kaluga region. This was reported on December 28 in the press service of the program.

The head of the Kaluga region Vladislav Shapsha stressed that the professional qualities and experience of the program participant are necessary to solve a number of, tasks facing the region. He also said that from 2025 will begin work on the regional analog of the "Time of heroes".
"Now there are many important tasks related to the SWO, support for our fighters, their families, combat veterans. A separate block concerns the provision of security. All these issues will be handled by Alexander Shlyapnikov," - said the head of the Kaluga region.
Shapsha serves in the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia, and Shlyapnikov has been awarded many government awards, including two Orders of Courage, a medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree with swords, the Suvorov medal, as well as the medal "For Bravery".
Earlier, 17 appointments from among the program's graduates took place.
On November 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed a participant of the program "Time of Heroes" Evgeny Pervyshov as a deputy governor of the Tambov region.
Prior to that, on October 2, the head of state appointed Artem Zhoga, former head of the parliament of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), as his plenipotentiary representative in the Urals Federal District. On September 25, a participant of the program "Time of Heroes" Evgeny Chintsov became the head of the Duma of Nizhny Novgorod.
The launch of the program "Time of Heroes" was announced by the Russian President in his message to the Federal Assembly on February 29. The Russian leader specified that the participants of the special operation will be given the opportunity to enter leading universities and get a civilian specialty as a priority.
The "Time of Heroes" personnel program is aimed at training leaders to work in state and municipal authorities from the participants of the special operation in Ukraine.
