A detained Ukrainian agent has revealed where he hid a bomb for the planned bombing of a military blogger and an officer of the Defense Ministry. This was reported by the Federal Security Service (FSB) on 28 December.

Ukrainian handlers contacted the detainee in one of the messengers. The unknown person offered him a job: it was necessary to take an explosive device from the cache and put it under the car of the famous blogger or under the gate in front of his house. However, the operation was canceled because the attacker fell ill.

Until further notice, he kept the explosive device in his workshop in a bag with cat litter, which was in a bucket.

Later, the man was given a new target for reconnaissance. He needed to find a certain car of a high-ranking military officer in Moscow in order to mine it.

Shortly before that it became known that the FSB prevented the terrorist attacks prepared by the attacker. It was reported that law enforcers detained a Russian citizen who acted on the instructions of an employee of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of Ukraine. The man is cooperating with the investigation. A set of operational-search activities and investigative actions are being carried out to document the crimes.

Earlier, on December 25, in the Moscow region prevented a terrorist attack by the special services of Ukraine against the head of the defense enterprise. At the moment detained seven Russian citizens living in Moscow, Sverdlovsk regions and Perm Krai, three of them minors. A criminal case under part 3 of article 30 and part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempt to commit a terrorist act as part of a group of persons by prior conspiracy") has been opened against the defendants.
