Temporary flight restrictions have been introduced at Kazan airport for safety reasons. This was reported on December 28 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAVT, Rosaviatsia) Artem Korenyako.

"To ensure the safety of civil aircraft (CA) flights from 6:00 Moscow time, temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of Kazan airport (ICAO code: UWKD)," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Flights are temporarily not accepted and cannot depart from the air harbor. Aircraft crews, airport services and air traffic controllers are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety.

Later in the press service of the airport informed "RIA Novosti" that flights from Tomsk, Kemerovo and Surgut, flying to Kazan, were redirected to Begishevo.

The day before, on December 27, an Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Hong Kong was delayed because of a troublemaker. According to the passenger, the plane was on its way to take off, but it had to return to the parking lot because of a man in business class, who behaved inadequately. As a result, the flight was delayed for more than two hours.
