In Krasnoyarsk, a girl tried to set fire to a gas station because of fraudsters' deception

A resident of Krasnoyarsk was detained while trying to set fire to a gas station. According to the investigation, the 22-year-old girl tried to return the money stolen by fraudsters in this way. About the incident on December 28 in its Telegram-channel reported the regional Prosecutor's office.

"On the instructions of the fraudsters Krasnoyarka bought everything necessary, made several bottles with a flammable mixture and went to the gas station on Popova Street. Further, being in touch with the swindlers, she threw the burning containers into the gas station's column, because of which there was a fire," - said representatives of law enforcement agencies.

According to investigators, a few days before the incident, the girl transferred 7 thousand rubles to the attackers. A few days later, the fraudsters contacted the victim again, promising to return all the funds to her if she sets the gas station on fire.

Employees of the gas station prevented the consequences of the resulting fire by localizing the fire. The girl was arrested by police officers who arrived at the scene.

A criminal case on attempted destruction of another person's property by generally dangerous way (part 3 of article 30, part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was initiated on the fact of the incident.

Earlier, on December 26, a man rammed a fence and set a car on fire in Vladimir region. According to preliminary data, on December 25, a resident of Gus-Khrustalny on his car deliberately drove into a house, after which he set the car on fire. Some time later, the man was detained at the scene of the crime by employees of the Rosgvardiya.

Before that, on December 25, in the Moscow region arrested a man who set fire to a house with five residents. In June, in the village of Sharapovo, Chekhovsky district, a 41-year-old man, planning a murder, poured gasoline from a canister on the door mat, then set it on fire with a lighter. As a result of the arson, the house, garage and property were completely burned down. The damage is estimated at more than 2.5 million rubles.
