The media reported about the threat of a criminal case against Dudy for violating the law on foreign agents

Blogger Yury Dudy (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) faces a criminal case and two years in prison for violating the rules of foreign agent activity. This was reported by TASS on December 28, citing law enforcement agencies.

"Dudy faces a criminal case under Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (evasion from fulfillment of duties provided for by the Russian legislation on foreign agents)," the agency's source said.

As specified in law enforcement agencies, in case of a case, the blogger may face imprisonment for up to two years.

Earlier, on December 27, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow brought Dudya to administrative responsibility for violations of the activities of a foreign agent. He was given a fine of 45 thousand rubles.

On August 8, Dudy was fined Br40 thousand for violating the activities of a foreign agent.

On April 15, 2022, the Ministry of Justice added Dudy to the list of foreign agents. On June 7 of the same year, the blogger filed a lawsuit, which was rejected.
