The governor reported 10 destroyed drones over the Voronezh region

Air defense (Air Defense) and electronic warfare (REB) assets eliminated 10 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the suburbs of Voronezh and in several districts of the Voronezh region, Governor Alexander Gusev said on December 28.

"In one of the districts of the region when the wreckage of the drone fell, there was a break in the contact network on the railroad. Until the elimination of the consequences is currently delayed one train, also expected delays of a number of others," - said the head of the region in Telegram-channel.

As Gusev noted, there are no casualties as a result of the attack. Meanwhile, a special staff of the South-Eastern Railway was created to promptly eliminate the consequences of the incident.

Operational services are working at the site of the breakage of the contact network.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
