The Defense Ministry published footage of servicemen working in military equipment repair units

On December 28, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of servicemen from the repair units of the Center force grouping working to restore and repair engines, units and assemblies of military equipment.

During the work, specialists carry out the entire cycle of repair and restoration of failed units and assemblies, as well as engines of automotive and armored vehicles.

The servicemen also carry out overhaul of engines with a complete overhaul and replacement of faulty parts, as well as with the subsequent launch of the restored unit on a special stand.

"My unit is engaged in the repair and restoration of armored vehicles. It repairs up to three units per day," said the commander of the rem company, Sergei.

In addition, the servicemen organized production for the repair and restoration of the main components of combat vehicles, as well as failed electrical equipment of the equipment.

Earlier, on December 12, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of combat work of the repair and evacuation unit of the "West" group of troops. Specialists of the repair and evacuation units are in constant readiness around the clock to fulfill the combat task of evacuating combat equipment with various malfunctions.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
