Putin formed a working group on the development of the education system

Russian President Vladimir Putin has formed an interdepartmental working group on the development of the education system, co-chaired by presidential aide Andrei Fursenko and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. This became known on December 27 from the order posted on the official portal of legal acts.

"1. To form an interdepartmental working group on the development of the education system. 2. To approve the attached: a) the regulation on the interdepartmental working group on the development of the education system; b) the composition of the interdepartmental working group on the development of the education system", - stated in the document.

In addition to Fursenko and Chernyshenko, the working group includes Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov and Education Minister Valery Falkov.

According to the regulation, the working group will be engaged in organizing the development and consideration of the strategy of education development, as well as conducting analyses of the state and prospects for the development of the education system in the country. Moreover, it will be necessary to prepare proposals for the President of the Russian Federation within its profile direction.

Earlier, on December 27, Putin established a scientific-expert council of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The chairman of the Council became the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu. In addition, by the same decree, the head of state abolished the scientific council at the Security Council.

Before that, on August 22, the Russian President established the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the implementation of state policy in the sphere of support of the Russian language and languages of the peoples of Russia. The structure was chaired by presidential advisor Elena Yampolskaya. By the same decree, he abolished the Presidential Council on the Russian language.
