Air defense systems in Kursk region destroyed two more AFU missiles

Air defense forces have shot down two more missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kursk Region. This was reported by the government of the region on December 27.

"Two more Ukrainian missiles were destroyed in the skies of the Kursk region during a missile threat. Thanks to the air defense fighters," - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

Earlier on December 27 in the press service of the government of the region reported the destruction of the AFU missile over the territory of the Kursk region. At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry specified that in the region the enemy lost more than 600 servicemen over the day. It also added that the AFU lost more than 44,570 soldiers during the fighting in the Kursk direction.

In addition, air defense means intercepted and destroyed 13 Ukrainian drones over the regions of the Russian Federation. It was specified that five drones were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk region, three - over the Kursk region, two each - over the Belgorod and Tula regions and one - over the Astrakhan region.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. Ukrainian militants who invaded Russian territory are being liquidated.
